Access support and advice to progress on a pathway of safety and wellbeing
Our kaimahi support and advocate for whaanau affected by family violence, ensuring they have access to the appropriate services. They are committed to treating all whaanau with respect, empathy, compassion, and aroha.
The Integrated Safety Response is a collaboration working to improve and coordinate the support that whaanau receive from community service providers and government agencies including Ngaa Pirihimana o Aotearoa (New Zealand Police), Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections), Te Whatu Ora (Ministry of Health), Ministry of Social Development, ACC, and Oranga Tamariki (Ministry for Children).
When whaanau are referred to us, we help them explore the options available to access the services they need. Our services prioritise protection and accountability and help people reclaim their identity and culture, affirming their pathway to autonomy and positive change.
